Chasing two flat tyres at Isterni (Κυνηγώντας δυο τρύπια λάστιχα στο Υστέρνι)

They say that you should be careful for what you wish for! Did I wish adventurous holidays at the previous post? Well, I have had an adveturous closure for my holidays indeed... After a marvellous week in Paros and a short trip to Antiparos -and when things could not get better- the odyssey began:
1) we woke up on the day of our departure to find our car with the two back tyres flat! As we were practically in the wilderness of Paros up on a hill with very few houses surrounding us and most of their inhabitants away we managed to find somebody to give us a lift to naoussa to fix the tyres.
2) However, we had to carry them to the main road and we thought it was best to roll them down to a path (and do not think about asphalt or even cement roads...). While I was chasing one of the tyres in order to avoid a ditch, I sprang my foot!
3) After we managed to fix them, we arrived home trying to clean the house, wash the dishes and pack our stuff before we left. We arrived at the port just on time after speeding on the road to Paroikia and praying we wont miss the ship.
4) The ship -typically- arrived half an hour later. While we were waiting to enter with the car, we had a fight in order to get in and the guy refused to let us in!! After apologising for 10 minutes and after seeing that I was injured he let us in...
5) We flew back to England on Thursday being lucky enough to arrive just after a thunderstorm that had caused tremendous delays and flight divertions to Gatwick instead of landing to Heathrow. Therefore, we had to wait for 1 and a half hour for our luggage. (A propos, I am still walking with a crutch!)

That is what I call an adveturous holiday finale!!!
