Joy Division/New Order Wembley Arena

There are some things in life you cannot wipe from your memory. The house where you spent your childhood, your best summer holidays, you first pet, the first time you uttered the words 'I love you'. Last Friday was one of those times.

After the last song by Maximo Park we felt the Arena would not be filled by the end of the night. However, everything changed within the next hour. At around 9 p.m followed by a western film tune, Bernard Sumner, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris and Phil Cunningham appear on stage. Bernard Sumner greets by saying: "Good evening. Tonight we are Joy Division." And the familiar base of She's Lost Control is on! Then comes Shadowplay (wooziness), These Days (joy), Radio Transmission (asphyxiation), Love will Tear us Apart (nostalgia), Atmosphere (tears). One of my fantasies came true at that moment...

After the Joy Division tribute, the stage belongs to New Order offering a mixture of rock, pop, dance and electronica playing songs from the 1980s to 2000s making us dance, laugh, push, scream. I do not even care about the no smoking restriction for the Arena! Around 11ish we set off for the tube station singing one of the songs we didn't hear (Shell Shock)
It is never enough
it is never enough
until your heart stops beating...

At the other end of the road, a guy with a micro tries to persuade passers by to believe in Jesus. Well, at 11.30 we certainly believed in the fact that anything is possible!
