I promised didn't I? Here are some of the ways suggested by the Independent to keep your brain young:
4. Counting: Count out loud by twos up to 100 as fast as you can. Count backward by twos from 100 to zero. Now count by threes up to 100. Now count backward by threes from 100. Then for the optimum challenge, count forward by sevens. Then count backward by sevens.
(I have a better challenge! Try to count the chewing-gums stuck on Camden pavements!)
9. Upside down reading: Choose an article from a newspaper or magazine. Hold it upside down and try to read it. Most people will have some difficulty doing this. However, it is good exercise for the brain. Speed is not a concern. Read as many sentences as possible until the brain feels challenged. Repeat the exercise regularly.
(Can I do it with a Lacanian text?)
21. New Titles: Write down the title of the last film you saw. Now suggest three other titles that you think could have been chosen for it instead. Repeat the exercise with other films, or books or songs. (Now I see the real point of Hornby's Top 5s...)
28. Draw an egg: Most of us have more artistic ability than we recognize. Set an egg on the table in front of you, observe it carefully, and try to sketch it. Try several times. The purpose of this exercise is not to see how well you can draw but to sharpen your ability to really see. An egg is an elusive shape and not easy to draw-but your brain cells will be dancing because of your efforts. (Can I draw Humpty-Dumpty?)

I think I might try 9 with a certain phenomenological text in the original German version. After that, I should be able to do pretty much everything.
If it is Husserl I agree!!! ;)
Let's not forget SuDoku (said in the appropriate accent)!
