So here I am, first day of spring, gazing at a gray sky and thinking that I ve got to wear my cap and gloves again before I go out...BBC weather reports that the highest temperature in London is going to be around 6 degrees and the lowest zero again!Great!No sign of rebirth in nature at the moment...Where are the flowers? Where is the sun? Just hoping spring will arrive soon...( I am not looking forward to hay fever though...!!!)

Spring??
So here I am, first day of spring, gazing at a gray sky and thinking that I ve got to wear my cap and gloves again before I go out...BBC weather reports that the highest temperature in London is going to be around 6 degrees and the lowest zero again!Great!No sign of rebirth in nature at the moment...Where are the flowers? I was thinking this morning:is it because I cannot see the seasons'change and we move all of a sudden from dark winter to wet summer that I feel that I've lost some months of my life in this country?!?! Losing track of time is definitely related to seasonal change and climate..
Anyway..let's hope that spring is on her way-and let's wish to all these lucky people living in warmer countries somewhere close to the Mediterranean perhaps, enjoy the sunshine!(και τον φραπέ κοντά στην θάλασσα):)
I know what you mean...and I prefer to have 4 seasons than this! But then, imagine if it were sunny and warm all the time...we would lie outside all day on the grass and bye bye PhD!!But then again we are such cool students, we would make it anyway, right?? ;)
Oh, yes. It would be a most welcome challenge. And, naturally, we'd deal with it just fine.
