Mia, for the first time ever, they made us take off our shoes in Stansted--i wear high top Cons (the calf-high ones) and it was a BITCH, i ended up running in my socks to the tram that takes one to the Germanwings gates. i could go on w/the lack of communication between the check-in people and security (they wondered about all i was told to put in the see-through plastic bags) but i already did on my site and don't wanna relive the horrors here.

total bummer. 'welcome to little amerika.' i blame bu$hCo, actually (but you already knew that). :-)

@ Pixie: To be honest I wasnt really excited by the city, I guess it would have been better to visit Edinburgh...Maybe it wasnt the city but my weird mood! Oh well maybe next time with some company! :) (I love your new pic! ;))

@rimone: Apologies but I laughed my head off after reading your description!! I read your post as well. Yes, Little American indeed...agrrr! The new thingy with the Russian guy and the radiation probably indexes a new era for aerial transport. In the future we will have to get stark naked to get on that damned plane!!

bah...i call it amerika after Franz Kafka's story. as you know, i do miss America, the one we used to have pre-december 2K.

so pleased you dug my post--it was mostly stoned-out and tired stream o' consciousness shite but i hadda get it all down ASAP.

thank you. :-)

I had a long term relationship with someone from Glasgow so I really visited many places and met a lot of people.Maybe this is why I loved it so much.I stayed there for a summer and I thought I could live there forever, the city is not that beautiful but the people are so beautiful.Had the time of my life!

If you put it that way what can I say ;)

I agree, we normally get attached to places because of people and situations...A nice topic for a post now that I am thinking about it! :)
